10 Of The Best Websites To Find Mirrors For Your Home Online

Wondering where to buy a mirror for your bathroom vanity, living room, or bedroom? You have come to the right place!

“Where should I buy a mirror?” is a question I often get from clients who have a specific vision for a mirror but have been unsuccessful in finding “the one”.

Searching for the right mirror can often take some shopping around, and when my go-to local spots (anyone else love Home Goods?) fail to have exactly what I am looking for I know I can always turn to my favorite online stores.

After years of shopping online, I think I have nearly perfected my list of stores to include a variety of places to serve any style and budget need a client may have when looking to buy a mirror.

To help you avoid the endless search through websites, I am sharing my list of favorites with you today.

Reasons I Recommended Searching For Mirrors Online -

Unless I am in a pinch for time and need a mirror same day, I will often start my search to buy a mirror online. Here are a few of the reasons why:

  • Convenience -

    • With how busy we all are, shopping online is the norm these days. Being able to shop on my phone as I wait to meet with a client or when riding in the car is a great way to be able to work efficiently. It is also an easy way to find options to send to your contractor or designer to see if your selection will work in your space because all the information for the product is on one page.

  • If You Need Something Specific -

    • Sometimes unique spaces and circumstances call for a unique mirror! Instead of running place to place and before going to a mirror company to ask for something special to be made, shopping online for that specific mirror is an easy step that can save you both time and money.

  • Easier To Search For The Exact Size And Finish -

    • You’ll notice that many of my favorite places below have one thing in common - they are easy to search! It helps to narrow down the thousands of options out there when you’re able to only have to see the mirrors that are the right size, shape, and/or finish you want using their search filters.

  • If You Want To Know All Your Options -

    • I have noticed that some of my clients want just a few options while others want to know ALL their options before making a final decision. If you’re someone who wants to know all the options out there that could work for you, searching online for your mirror is going to be the most effective way to accomplish that goal while also keeping your project moving forward.

  • Easily Compare Prices -

    • When shopping within a budget for a project, being able to compare pricing is important. I want to know I am always getting my client’s the best price possible! Shopping online makes it easy to compare prices between sites for the same mirror.

My Tips To Help You Buy The Right Mirror Online -

In order to have the best experience buying your mirror online, here are a few easy things I recommend doing:

  • Know the dimensions -

    • I always recommend knowing the maximum, and sometimes minimum, dimensions of the mirror that you might want. This can make your search so much easier and rule out options that are definitely not a fit.

  • Consider how you’ll hang the mirror -

    • Especially when looking at really heavy or large mirrors, checking how the mirror will be hung can be helpful. Knowing this information means you can buy any additional hangers or anchors you might need in advance so you’ll be able to hang the mirror once it arrives.

  • Keep the finish of the mirror in mind -

    • As I have mentioned in other posts, I often recommend sticking with two (or fewer) metal finishes in one space. This helps to keep the design feeling cohesive. For example, if you already have chrome hardware and a black faucet, choosing a mirror with a finish that is either chrome or black will be your best bet for an intentional look.

  • Check the return policy, just in case -

    • When ordering online it is always helpful to know the return policy of the site just in case something goes wrong. Knowing your options for return upfront can remove some of the stress of buying your mirror online.
